📅 Saturday 28th November 5:30 - 7 PM
📍Carb Club, Unit 11 Smokehaus, 2-16 Bayford Street, London, E8 3SE
Get hands-on with clay and create your very own clay Christmas tree decorations! 🎄✨
In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of slab building and use your hands and our clay tools to make your own festive decorations from scratch. Choose your favourite shapes using our templates, then cut, shape and decorate your creations with colourful underglazes and personal touches to make them completely your own!
Once you’ve finished creating, we’ll take care of the glazing and firing, so your handmade decorations will be ready to collect once they’ve been baked in the kiln, not once, but twice! The perfect addition to your Christmas tree or a thoughtful handmade gift 💝
Please note: each workshop ticket includes three decorations to make, decorate and fire.
Your workshop ticket includes:
🏺 All the clay and materials you need
✋ Guidance through the slab-building process
🎄 Your choice of decoration shapes
🎨 Time to decorate and personalise your decorations
🔥 Glazing and firing
No previous pottery experience needed; just come ready to get your hands slightly dirty and make something you’ll actually want to use! Come with your besties or come solo and make some new connections!
Please note: Your mug will need to be left with us for glazing and firing and will be ready to collect within 2–3 weeks. If you can’t collect it, we can post it back to you for £10 (UK addresses only; international postage will cost more).
More Info:
☕️ Food & drink: Our on-site coffee bar will be serving all your favourite drinks and pastries, and the best part? It’s completely vegan 🌱 (We kindly ask that you don’t bring outside food or drinks to the workshop).
✨ A Safe Space: We encourage solo visitors and create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere with everyone seated around one large table. Our pottery painting cafe is fully accessible, with a disabled toilet and baby changing area. We also offer free organic period care, as we believe in providing essential products without extra cost. Our staff is here to help you with anything you need, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all.
🩷 Refund Policy: If you can’t make it, you can request a full refund up to 7 days before the event, or reschedule your booking to another date up to 48 hours before the event. After this point, bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
