Get hands-on with clay and make a mug that’s completely your own! ☕️
In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of slab building and, using your hands and our clay tools, create your very own mug from scratch. Choose the shape and style you want to make from our templates, then build your mug piece by piece before adding your own decorations, colours and personal touches!
Once you’ve finished creating, we’ll take care of the glazing and firing, so your handmade mug will be ready to collect once it’s been baked in the kiln, not once, but twice! 🔥
Your workshop ticket includes:

🔥 Glazing and firing
No previous pottery experience needed; just come ready to get your hands slightly dirty and make something you’ll actually want to use! Come with your besties or come solo and make some new connections!
Please note: Your mug will need to be left with us for glazing and firing and will be ready to collect within 2–3 weeks. If you can’t collect it, we can post it back to you for £10 (UK addresses only; international postage will cost more).

☕️ Food & drink: Our on-site coffee bar will be serving all your favourite drinks and pastries, and the best part? It’s completely vegan 🌱 (We kindly ask that you don’t bring outside food or drinks to the workshop).
✨ A Safe Space: We encourage solo visitors and create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere with everyone seated around one large table. Our pottery painting cafe is fully accessible, with a disabled toilet and baby changing area. We also offer free organic period care, as we believe in providing essential products without extra cost. Our staff is here to help you with anything you need, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all.
🩷 Refund Policy: If you can’t make it, you can request a full refund up to 7 days before the event, or reschedule your booking to another date up to 48 hours before the event. After this point, bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
